When everyone decides’ the epidemic is over

This Sunday (24) WHO President Tetros Adanom Caprese said that the Covid-19 epidemic will end “when everyone puts an end to it” because we now have “all the tools” needed to fight the virus.

“The epidemic will end when everyone puts an end to it, it is in our hands and we have all the tools we need to do that,” the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Berlin said, urging him to redistribute the most consistent anti-Govt vaccines worldwide.

Tetros Adonom further recalled, “Globally with about 50,000 deaths per week”, “the epidemic is over”.

He made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the “World Health Summit” in Berlin, which brings together health professionals and political leaders each year.

The WHO has set a target of 40% of each country’s population being vaccinated by the end of the year and 70% between 20 and 2022.

Tetros Adanam has lamented on several occasions about the concentration of vaccines in rich countries.

“The goal is achievable, but only if the countries and companies that control the distribution translate their statements into facts,” he stressed in the German capital.
