Uber Eats delivery man thrown from flyover in dispute

A delivery man Uber Eads was thrown from an overpass in Tultitlán, Mexico after an argument with a driver. According to Mexican newspaper El Universal, the victim was identified as Guillermo “G” and had a fractured left leg.

The incident took place almost 15 days ago, but Guillermo was identified only last week.

In a video posted on Twitter, three men are seen arguing around a red car. A woman in yellow demands something from the delivery man, and the other man opens the trunk, implying an accident.

The argument lasts about a minute and the delivery man punches the driver. After that, the boy is thrown from the viaduct and the driver flees with the woman – they are not identified.

Mexican authorities have confirmed that the boy who was thrown from the viaduct was in labor and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He suffered a fracture near his left tibia and has already been discharged to recuperate at home.

The Mexican Public Ministry took a long time to identify the worker because they could not find patient records matching the description of him. Due to health reasons, it was decided that “once better conditions are verified, he will give his testimony about what happened.”

As for the aggressor, the judge says he is trying to identify him “to clarify the facts”.
