The unidentified tourist was later accused of being involved in Nazi propaganda. Prosecutors imposed a fine, which she agreed to pay.

She then posed for a photo taken by her husband.

This is not the first time foreigners have been arrested in Poland for promoting Nazi propaganda – up to two years in prison.

In 2013, two Turkish students were sentenced to six months in prison and fined for similar Nazi worship in Auschwitz.
