The man who tested Kovit 43 positive says: ‘Both legs were found in the grave’ | Fantastic

In 2018, the first serious health problem: cancer. In 2019, another fear: heart surgery. The corona virus came in March 2020 and retired UK Dave Smith, 72, had to face a new challenge. With low immunity after controlling the cancer once through heavy chemotherapy, he had an infection outside the arch.

The first test was positive, the second test, the third the same thing … Four months later, the story started differently: there were already 15 tests, the virus did not go away. In total, Dave was hospitalized seven times, lost 60 pounds, and 43 Govt tests were positive. The suffering lasted for almost a year: from April 2020 to March 2021.

Doctors are still not 100% sure how Dave recovered. They used experimental therapies that could help, and the case is being studied by scientists at the University of Bristol. The main challenge at the moment is figuring out how the virus hides and changes in the human body – and how, however, it affects a person for so long.

“I don’t want to hang out with the skating. I don’t want to swim with a dolphin. I want to live my normal little life. I’ve seen a lot of my friends and spent a lot of time with my wife, which was amazing,” Dave said.
