An American man has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting death of the couple’s two-year-old son in August this year.

According to Florida Police, the child found Ventre Avery’s mounted revolver and fired at his own mother, Shamaya Lynn, who was on a business zoom call.

The court understood that the boy as the owner of the weapon had a responsibility to take care of it and, therefore, he was charged.

According to the police investigation, the weapon was left in an unsafe condition in the children’s bag which was on the floor of the couple’s bedroom.

The child found the revolver, went behind the mother and fired a single gun. A co-worker who was broadcasting online with the woman was startled by the noise and called the police to hear the baby’s roar.

When Avery returned home after a while, he found his girlfriend bleeding on the floor. He contacted the emergency service and told paramedics to “hurry up”.

The boy gave himself first aid and gave the woman a heart massage, but doctors were unable to revive her. She died at the scene.
