According to officials, Kelly worked as an alternative teacher at Ianna Lakeland High School through the Education Services Recruitment Agency.

The agency has been told that teachers are no longer allowed to work in any public school in Polk County.

“We expect alternative teachers to maintain high standards of conduct and professionalism, just like our full-time educators,” Superintendent Frederick Height said in a statement. “The allegations against this person are shameful and completely violate the trust that teachers develop with their students.
