Skyrim Anniversary Switch players seem to be having performance issues

Earlier this week, the Switch received the Anniversary Edition of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It’s amazing to finally have this special version of the game on your Nintendo hybrid, it seems some Players are having performance issues.

Number of Skyrim الذكرى Anniversary Switch users are reporting frame rate issues – including stuttering and low frame rate. Others are supposed to experience crashes more regularly now, with many mentioning how they used to play Survival Mode. Here’s a look at one of the videos blown up on the Nintendo Switch subreddit right now:

This seems to affect players who have installed the Anniversary content, as the base game is still “silk smooth” according to some users. Some suggestions are to try a fresh install if these performance issues persist. Problems like this can often be fixed or at least improved via a series of patches, so we hope Bethesda takes notice.

Skyrim’s Anniversary Edition comes packed with the base game, add-ons (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn), and a wealth of Club Creation content such as missions, dungeons, bosses, weapons, and spells. There is fishing too.

If we hear of any further developments, we will let you know.
