Patrick Mahomes Injury Update: Chiefs QB returns to start the second half after sustaining an ankle injury against the Jaguars

Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes injured his ankle early in the divisional game against Jacksonville Jaguars And after initially doubting the comeback, he came back to start the second half. An x-ray of his ankle was negative, According to Ian Rapoport.

Mahomes ran onto the field after halftime and was throwing warmups. He was the first player to come out of the locker room, and when NBC reporter Melissa Stark asked him if he was okay, he said yes.

His return brought loud cheers to Arrowhead Stadium, but Mahomes prepared to get back to work, telling the crowd to calm down.
