at Venezuela, the country’s children received various gifts for Christmas. One of them, controversial, are superhero dolls called “Super Pigot” and “Chilita,” which are inspired by President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Celia Flores.

During Christmas, Venezuela distributed more than 12 million toys to children across the country, according to Vice President Delsey Rodriguez. He distributes toys in the community of La Tejerias – where 22 people died in a tragic landslide in October.

The toy started spreading in the country with children’s drawings of the “Super Mustache” fighting against America and becoming its slogan. “With your iron hand”.

The distribution of the toys became a debate in the country as the manufacture of the toy was done with public funds and the costs were not disclosed by the government.
