Indonesia: A man underwent surgery to fit a 2m nylon cable into his penis

A 37-year-old man has been admitted to a hospital in the Indonesian province of East Java after he inserted a two-meter-long nylon wire into his penis. To remove the thread, the medical team had to perform minor cystoscopy surgery (endoscopic procedure performed on the renal tract). Information from UOL.

The unidentified man was admitted to the emergency department of the hospital complaining of abdominal pain.

After some testing, the bladder was found to contain nylon thread (used in jewelry making) that carries urine out.

When questioned, the man said he decided to watch a pornographic video and take a test. However, he had difficulty urinating and when he urinated, blood came from his urethra.

He said this was the first time he had done so, despite consuming pornographic content on a daily basis.

Therefore, doctors in the health department decided to insert a catheter to promote active irrigation of the penis and thus remove the thread. However, this maneuver had no effect and required a little surgery.

After the procedure, the person was hospitalized for two days and was referred for a psychiatric evaluation, where he was diagnosed with manic-compulsive disorder and paraphilia (when a person derives pleasure from abnormal sexual habits).
