Some people can not start their day without good coffee. Be aware that if you are part of this group, the risk of early death may be lower than for non-coffee drinkers.
One Study Over a seven-year analysis, observation shows that drinking coffee with or without sugar reduces the risk of death by up to 30%. The study was published in the journal The அன்னல் Of Internal Medication on May 31st.
How the study took place
The researchers studied coffee consumption data from 170,000 people aged 37 to 73. This information came from the UK’s Biobank, the largest British population health database. During the period under review, 3,177 deaths were recorded.
The researchers looked at factors such as gender, race, education level, cigarette use, weight, height and diet, and found that coffee drinkers without sugar had a lower risk of dying.
Drinkers with more than two cups lived longer
The largest reduction (29%) was between those who drank 2.5 to 4.5 cups a day. Among those who sweetened coffee, those who drank 1.5 to 3.5 cups a day had a lower risk of death. Conclusions about coffee drinkers with sweeteners could not be reached in this study.
But caution is needed. Since this is an observational study, the data are not conclusive, i.e., other factors such as a healthy lifestyle, diet and physical activity can not be proven to reduce the risk of coffee death.
There is a consensus among experts that the recommended maximum amount of coffee per day is 400 milligrams of caffeine, which is equivalent to an average of three or four cups of brewed coffee. By consuming this amount, you increase the positive effects of coffee.
