“At the invitation of Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Russia from March 20 to 22,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The recent rapprochement between the two countries has worried the West, which fears a military partnership to supply arms to the Russian military from China.
